American actor and musician Awkwafina began her career with hilarious songs that dealt with sexuality and racial identities with a an incisive and humorous perspective, before expanding her reach into Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was the first instrument she played for her.
