Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American producer stage and screen actress, best well-known for her films as a character in Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She received a BA in Brown University in African-American Studies. The Tisch school of the arts, New York University she earned an MFA. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in films theater as well as television. She began her career as an actress in theatre before going on to be a part of numerous television shows, both mainstream and independent films. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. The BET's epic show The Book of Negroes she appeared. Not only did she receive critical acclaim for her role but also received a few awards and nominations. She started her career as an actor in the year 1995 when she played Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest. Her credits on stage include The Broadway performance of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In terms of her film career the most recognizable roles she has played include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. On television her regular role in the ABC's crime drama series High Incident has earned her high praise.
