Antonia Lofaso
Chef Antonia Lofaso's culinary creations are an opportunity to delve into the depths of her personal world. She began to be interested in food after moving from the suburbs of Long Island to the diverse cultures in Los Angeles. Carnetas and Cavatelli are, according to her, able to coexist on the same menu. Her taste is constantly developing. All of her meals she draws a picture that is distinct and speaks to an ache for the past. Scopa Italian Roots is a restaurant which was established by Lofaso in 2013. She opened it because of her heritage as an Italian-American. Lofaso's interpretation of old-school Italian is hailed for being among the most compelling restaurants for Italian cuisine located in Los Angeles. Food at Lofaso is authentic, inviting and undeniably pleasing. Lofaso took her cues from the greats of culinary who employed sophisticated methods. But, she didn't hesitate to take extreme risk to follow her instincts. After a brief period, Lofaso rose to the very top at Wolfgang Puck's Spago. In the following years, she worked with many famous celebrities as she transformed various Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in the year 2011. The bar was eventually able to get the space in Black Market as well as the alliances she created. Lofaso's creative freedom will be facilitated with this partnership. Black Market is not constrained by a single direction, and that is the intention. The first course could be potato chips and peppers some dill. This could be followed by Korean meatballs and wings. Antonia anchors the bold range of flavors. Lofaso measured her professional success by her capacity to both understand and be genuine to her audience. In the course of her career, both Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars emphasized her ability to express her self outside of the culinary environment. Since then she's maintained her work in front of cameras, including judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup Judge as well as regular appearances on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso has teamed up together with Penguin at the end of 2012 in order to launch The Busy Mom's Cookbook, 100 Recipes to prepare Delicious homemade Meals. This book also describes the obstacles she faced while attending the French Culinary Institute and raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso says that her passion for cooking is the driving for her accomplishments. She stays at the forefront of her field by keeping an to the latest trends and fashions. Through her Chefletics brand, she is altering the appearance of her industry by re-designing clothes for the kitchen that are stylish as well as function. Lofaso is determined to stay true to the goals of her clients. The brand she has developed is Antonia Lofaso Catering to help achieve that.
