Najarra was already aware of what she wanted to do with her life from the time she was three. From her childhood she started modeling in addition to playing on stage shows in the local area. She continued to participate in musicals and theater throughout the remainder of her teenage years. When she was ten, she had her first big screen appearance co-starring in the film "Menace". Najarra's appearance in the Sundance and Cannes prize-winning "Me as well as You and All the People We know" in 2005 attracted global attention. The actress has appeared as the title character in various films, including: "Tru Loved", "Marin Blue", "Betty I am" and appeared in many other Indie films.
